Home About Us

“We did not choose South Africa; South Africa was chosen for us by God.”

Pastoral Leadership, VCC
How It Began

From Lubumbashi To South Africa

Viens et Vois Church is an extension of the evangelical city church born in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo. Rooted in a tradition of passionate worship, sound doctrine, and community transformation, VCC was planted in South Africa as an expression of God’s heart for the nations.

Our name — Viens et Vois — means “Come and See” in French. It is an invitation rooted in the words of Jesus himself (John 1:39), and it defines everything we are: a community that beckons the searching, the weary, and the hungry to encounter the living God.

Today, we are a multi-cultural, multi-generational church family. We hold the Word of God as our only infallible standard, the Holy Spirit as our guide, and Jesus Christ as our Supreme Leader.

Our Mission

Assigned by Jesus Christ, our Supreme Leader: to proclaim the Gospel according to the order in Matthew 28:19–20. We preach, teach, and live the Word without compromise.

Our Vision

To participate in the advancement of the Kingdom of God through Bible-based teachings that communicate the Gospel in word and in practice (Matthew 7:24). We aim to empower men and women of every background.

Our Core Values

  • God First in all things
  • The Authority of Scripture
  • Radical Welcome & Belonging
  • Discipleship Over Attendance
  • Mission Over Maintenance
What We Believe

Our Statement Of Faith

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Co-equal in power and glory.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God, revealing His will for humanity.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, and in His bodily resurrection.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, forming the Body of Christ.
We believe in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the ordinance of baptism by immersion and the regular observance of the Lord’s Supper.
